Appointments aren't set in stone for reefer... for the warehouse. Driver better be there no more than 20 seconds early and no more then 5 seconds late though.

I will never miss 6-14 hour load times for reefer, the entire time the reefer screaming, and the BOL saying "we dont pay detention"

How you liking the 16 hour unloads, paying lumpers and then waiting 3 hour lines for a washout?

    77fib77 and pumpkinishere Thank this.

oh yeah, I forgot about lumpers.
On the plus side I did use lumpers to get credit card sign on bonuses. How else would I spend $6000 in 3 months?

Thankfully we have found a costumer that is keeping us busy. He so far has gave us loads coming and going right back. Now tomorrow we deliver a load and we do not have a reload so we shall see. We will have to pick from load board so I may see what your talking about 16 hr load times. I hope not but very possible I guess. We did notice on this load there is a lumper fee of 100.00 but our customer included that on our rate con. I’ll let you know more after tomorrow. Our washouts thus far we’ve been like 3 in line on our longest wait.

For the most part it's not necessary to wash out your reefer after every load. Using a cordless leaf blower to "wash out" your reefer after each load will be satisfactory for 99% of shippers before reloading. Some places want to see a wash out receipt but I found that to be rare. I don't remember the last time I sat in a line at a truck wash. Keep on trucking if there's a line. Between 2-5am there's normally no line.

I have seafood in my mind. Also pharmaceutical. They are both high dollar and need teams. At least what I have been told.

Your own numbers or leased on?

    pumpkinishere Thanks this.

We own our own numbers. We would be interested in doing either one of those. If you have any good leads please let us know. Thank you!
