We’ve washed out every trip so far because we’ve been hauling freshly killed chickens. So once we deliver we generally have a trail of fresh blood in the trailer so we’ve washed out. We do need to get a blower I’ve actually seen people at truck stops blowing their reefers out.

do everyone a favor and dont leaf blow #### all over the ground in community places: streets, parking lots, fuel islands

    find a waste receptacle

idk that you needed to hear that personally, but from what i see a lot of people think thats ok to leave scraps of trash and 5 lbs of splinters in a pile at those places.

Yeah it needs saying. Most of the truckstops have trash cans around the parking lot.

When you’re both at each other’s throats because of lack of sleep..get rid of the trailer and go dry van.

I know exactly what you’re saying. We have a beagle dog that’s my baby that comes along in the truck and no matter where we go we have to dodge lots of trash and big splinters from pallets, it seems like it is at every truck stop. I love my fellow truckers and I’m blessed to be part of the community but it makes me sick to see how filthy truckers are. It pisses me off I can’t take my baby somewhere nice to pee or poop. Ya I’m the one with a bag picking my little guys poop up. But at the extreme filthy places I leave the poop behind.

I blow mine out as well and see people do that kind of stuff all the time. My biggest issue is when they blow the nails and screws out and not pick them up. I always throw everything in the trash except the dust of course. Just sad how many nasty truckers we have on the road with no respect!

Always pick up the poop if in a public place, If out on the side of the road who cares and understand. I hate when people do not take the couple minutes to take care of the areas. No difference in someone trashing the place before you in my eyes.
