Met alot of nice people OTR, got to see America, and finally got a savings account x'D

The positive aspect of trucking for is i get to see places and people. I don't spend money of buying stuff on payments, so i'll be able to retire early. i took time off the road and went to college for awhile, which is something i didn't have the chance to when i was younger. Trucking has been good to me, i like it several days a week and tolerate the rest

 

36 yrs. And still enjoy it!

 

I will qualify my statements in the other thread with this :
I quit that county job 17 years ago and was obviously younger then , looking back it was probably a mistake financially and going back to trucking ultimately cost me a marriage to a woman I deeply loved .
I'm happy now but it took me years to get over that .
