I have been a White water raft guide, backpacking instructor, web designer, Director of Marketing & IT, Dean of small business College, Tech support, Customer Service, as well as a roadie on tour doing anything from lights & video to rigging and building stages. I think trucking is going to be a great fit for me. -
A good friend of mine was a stay at home mom that ended up caring for her husband until he died of Lou Gehrig's disease. Since the kids were almost grown about that time she figured shed get a job at the local Drug Store to get her out of the house....On her way to drop off the application form, a local Truck Driving School truck drove by her and she wrote down the number on the application, went straight home and called them. She was behind the wheel the next day. She put in 10 years, ran 3 trucks at a time and helped her 2 sons get in as well.

Hello all,
I've got 12 years as a US Merchant Marine. I've been all over the world, some places I don't care to ever see again! I'm changing careers as I'm tired of being sent to places where Americans are on every ones' hit list! My last assignment sent me to Bahrain.....rioting in the streets the week I was stuck there! Even the Air Force didn't fly out, which is why I was stuck there for a week. So I figured I'd give truckin a try.....wish me luck! -

I was a big waste of your tax dollars. I was in the military getting drunk.

I worked in the printing industry right out of high school. Started as a jogger, worked as a roll tender and then finally 2nd man on a 4 man press. Worked in bindery for a while as well. Did it to pass the time until I turned 21.
Didn't care for factory work or the politics that went with it. -
I farm and still get to drive a truck!

After highschool I worked for the FDA for three years and was in nursing school. Ended up quitting school and coming out with what would now be my husband to drive. Been driving for 5 years now.
