So what did you do before getting into trucking?

    I have my Bachelors in Information Technology. I worked in IT for about 15 years.

    I got sick of companies restricting Americans pay while importing H1b visa workers and paying them more.

    Also I hated being on call 24/7 like a doctor. Of course I was salaried so that meant no OT. I make more trucking than I did in IT.

    1996 to present USMC GySgt. I retire in a few months. I'm still trying to decide what company to start my trucking carrier in.

    I was a beer taste tester. Got fired for drinking too much. Can't rember the name of the company.... I'm better now.

    I'm not sure yet...I'm open to relocate to other states if the job is there & cost of living is affordable.

    Going back out into the civilian world is a little nerve racking for me, I've spent half my life as a Marine & all of my adult life in uniform. Finding work has me stressed out the most.

    Worked a choke n puke from 16 to 18, loading dock from 18 to 21, been driving in one form or another ever since, 39 years old and counting

    Was a general manager of a Domino's, the highest volume one in a huge metro area. Which was impressive to me being only 21 and the fact that I smoked a pound of weed a week and somehow managed to take anything seriously.
