Only done it a couple times but it went by pretty quickly. Watched some TV in the truck stop, spent some time online. Bobtailed to a nearby Walmart and did some shopping. Read a little bit. Went for a long walk the one time, it was way too hot the other time.
If you're usually away from home for weeks I would imagine it's a good time to get laundry done and hit a Walmart to stock up. -
I tried to always be somewhere I could play Poker if I had to take a 34. So my 34 would usually look like this.
Sleep 6-8 hours
Play poker 18-22 hours
sleep 6-8 hours

We only have to sit 24 since we're team to get a 34 so it's not quite so bad. Usually just watch a season or two of a show we both like or watch some movies and it flies by pretty quickly.

Dream of winning big 6-8 hours

It goes quick for me, but I hate them too. 34 hours is such an odd time. It breaks up my sleeping pattern too much.

34 makes perfect sense. It's your usual 10 hours off plus a day.

Laundry, cleaning truck, movies, etc.

One job, I had a regular 2600 mile run to LA area and back. I had no choice but to do a 34 because the roundtrip was too far. I would go to the Commerce Casino in LA and play Texas Holdem all day and eat like a big dog. Then I would come home and do another 34 and do it again. Those were fun times.
