looking for a place to turn around (lease road) I wandered into a puddle at 1-2 mph. The puddle was a hole maybe 2 feet deep. Was stuck bad with right side drives suspended in the puddle and left side trailer tires in the air lol. Anyway another driver saw this spun his truck around mine and lined up rear bumpers and pushed me right out. Didn't even get to thank him he just took off after I was out of the hole.
These were tankers where the bumper extends out to protect valves and tank so not sure it would be so easily done with a dry van.

Plenty of dairies I've been out at where trucks coming out to get loaded get stuck in mud after rains or snow.
We've resorted to either using strips of busted up pallets on the property, or hailing down a dairy employee to fire up the massive, front end loader used to move hay and such for an effective tug.
Only time I've had to call out a wrecker was after using a grain silo scale near what looked like dry ground.
Rolled off the scale with 49,000 lbs of milk in the tanker and sank just low enough into the stealth mud to wait for an oilfield wrecker from Canadian to come pull me out of it.
