So what's the deal with trucks driving right up on other drivers leaving no space?

The question is, when do you set up the rig for a mad max scenario?tscottme Thanks this.

Yep they'll gladly take your house and any other assets you own and have busted your arse out here for. The advertisements for lawyers who specialize in screwing truckers all over on TV and billboards. Like that one guy in Texas who calls himself the "Texas Hammer" because "he hammers us truckers". It's not worth potentially lossing what may take a decade to financially make up the difference from over a pissing contest in traffic. It's is a large part of the reasons why I run slow very rarely do I have this problem driving 60mph it's just so much easier.bzinger Thanks this.

thats exactly what is happening. someone else’s actions are heavily influencing yours. puppetry at its best.
so really you should be saying: i do, in fact, let others drive my vehicle(s). -
Now those I rather have. Ive been there done that so many times, even today I can feel that wheel under tension as the tandems and drives were trying to get loose on pavement working around them.

Mexico is already there with armoring rigs.BigDog Trucker Thanks this.

If that's road rage then I could get them a ticket for impeding traffic. Pull out in front of me and slam on your brakes and I'll own your house. I have a camera. Slamming on brakes for no reason other than to cause an accident is road rage by itself and is illegal. Brake checking is against the law. Rear end accidents are not cut-and-dry offenses of guilt. Learn the law.
Rear-End Accident Caused By A Brake Check
I don't get THAT close but I do snuggle up a little bit to see if I can get them to go. Like I said, 99 times out of 100 it works. That's that much less passing I have to try to do. I don't do it often as 4 wheelers usually leave me in the dust.Last edited: Feb 1, 2019

I realize I'm running the risk of being chastized, but will say it anyway. We truckers do not own the road. I also believe that our time is no more valuable than any other driver's. Having a license to drive is a privelidge...not a right. I have no sympathy for tailgating drivers when they get busted.
tinytim, Dale thompson, roshea and 4 others Thank this. -

I putt along watching maniacs like you tailgate and road rage all day long. I'm just amazed that you don't get pulled over by LEO. I mean it's so obvious the way you guys drive. AGGRESSIVE! You have no business in this business.Dumdriver, roshea and scottied67 Thank this.
