I see way more Peterbilt/Kenworths with Bible scriptures, American flags/and or Rebel flags riding cars than I do the White Volvo mafia club(Russian/ East Euro) or the Sikhs from California .
These good ole American boys are usually pulling a tank too when they're 5 ft off the Prius's bumper !
Always seems to be a Prius that tricks them into road rage ( not sure why ?)
So what's the deal with trucks driving right up on other drivers leaving no space?

One possibility is they are planning on passing the truck in front of them
and they don't want to clog the left lane any longer than necessary.
I approve of this...not that I ever care if I am being tailgated in my truck anyway.
What DOES annoy me is a dimwit who sits behind me and to my left without passing.
I would far rather be tailgated.Generic username and mustang190 Thank this. -
They don't pay you guys enough to buy a hammer for thumping the tires?

I grew up in a time where they put infants on the back seat of the car or held them in their arms with the window wide open and no seat belts. If you went out and bought a car seat which was no more than a basket, you were looked at as some weirdo parent and the other parents felt sorry for your kids.
Hell the kid that grew up down the steet from me fell out of the car window while his mom was taking him to school, the first time his arm was run over. The second time he opened the door and plopped out while she was turning into a busy road and he almost got run over. There was a third time and his parents decided to get a harness and put him into it, what a fit he made about that and this lasted until he was 15.
This was the time when your car wasn't equipped with antilock brakes and people would pull out in front of others all the time.
Talk about road etiquette, there wasn't a lot but then if you pulled a gun out to threaten someone, they shot first or shot back and the cops would remind you not to shoot at each other.
I remember an incident where one guy rammed another who was sitting at a light and it turned green, the guy behind the first car was so impatient that he rammed the car hard pushing it out into the intersection and then they got into a fight in the intersection, the cops came by and beat the living crap out of both of them for not listening to their instructions to break up the fight.
As much as we live in a time of road rage, we have move ahead with some forms of civility. Not all but some.kemosabi49, InTooDeep and Slowmover1 Thank this. -
And to think all we needed was more rules, laws, and regulations from our government overlords all this time.
You still see people pull guns and fight from road rage. People ramming other cars.
I think we know what universe you come from.
Don't help and play dumb.
Remember when you didn't have to lock your doors? -
