So whats with the mid west?

    A lot of DCs and manufacturing in the midwest. Land is cheaper and towns/counties love to offer tax breaks for companies to come in to their towns, especially small towns.

    Understandable, better business climate in those states for smaller businesses, cheaper operating costs, less wear and tear on rigs. It all adds up. I could never see myself leaving Seattle area or WA state for that matter. I just moved here from CA and I still can't believe how much better this place is compared to where I came from. I could go on and on. The west coast political environment just isn't as welcoming to business as those states.
