No idea. I think there is a manual for it somewhere on my truck. I'll try to remember to take a look.

Here's what i have noticed lately .
Contract rates at my carrier are dropping off which isnt a surprise .
Current load I'm under pays me 1.68 cpm for a reefer load going 700 miles and my carrier pays for the reefer fuel and all expenses involving the load for a large food manufacturer.
I have slowed down to compensate pushing my average mpg into the low 7s and 8s but I see very few people slowing down I know are hauling cheap broker freight hauling arse hammer down .
How do these people make money ?

 

At 1.68 I don't think you could afford to drive fast. lol

 

What are your numbers ?

 

Not great but they are getting better. A little over 2 bucks a mile on my numbers. But I am running dry van. If running ref I would think it would be higher for you.

 

That was for one load and I only was really asking why I see so many people running 75 plus ...I see loads pushing 275 but they have dropped back on contract also .
I'm not talking broker freight .
In a market that is shrinking I'd think one would see people cut expenses a bit .
But I see very few .
