I have 3 years with my class A, I year OTR. The company I previously worked for was a small 3 truck company that Sun-contracted for StageCall. This had to be the best driving job out there.
Anyway, I am now trying to find another OTR job and have applied to dozens of companies. My problem is verification as the previous company went out of buisness due to his divorce. I have been hired by Western and went to orienation , and was ready to get a truck when I decided to come home and think about it. I now have a new bus ticket down to hop in a truck and start driving for them. I have also been approved by USExpress. They want me to leave to go to thier orientation. I have read all the good and bad on both companies.
My question is, should I not go to either and keep looking, or which one is better?
Running out of money and need to do something now!
So who do I go to work for???

Best of Luck!!!!! -
If I had to choose between the two, I'd take Western.
Also, since you've already done their orientation, if you quit now they could ding your DAC. -
Well i actually had another day to go, I wasn't given a truck yet or anything. I just did the physical, road test, and some class time. I was suppose to do another day for cargo securement, but I decided to leave on that day. I spoke to my recruiter and told her I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. If they ding my DAC, I have a very good lawyer.

Is there not any other O/O's leased to Stage Call you could get in touch with?
After doing that for any amount of time, I seriously doubt you'll be happy hauling everyday freight. -
No everyone else are o/o that drive thier own trucks. We had 4 trucks and subcontracted to them when they needed another truck and driver. I kinnda fell into that company not even knowing what they hauled. It's hard to go from a diamond job to a bronze job if you know what I mean
