Don't bother calling about jobs up here in the Bakken. They will tell you what they tell everyone else who says they want to work here . Come by and see us... Unless u got 3-5 years of oilfield experience no company will hire u over The phone if u are out of state. With winter soon approaching idk if driving school drivers will get a job here... The roads suck at nite in normal weather... Let alone with snow and ice...

My wife asked me to look into the oilfield jobs, I currently make around $50k / yr hauling live chickens. We have an 18mo. old son. Is this worth looking into for me?

My company services several wells in the Bakken...ones that are already in place producing oil. It would simply mean we wouldn't hire any new drivers for a while....Life would go on as normal for us.

Thanks to the idiots in the US government: North Dakota finds a way to let everyone brave enough to come up here prosper and now come the regulations!

Guess they didn't learn their lesson in California when the over-regulated just about everything....now California is broke and the economy there sucks.

God bless the USA!.....Just because the US Government had it's own credit rating degraded doesn't mean North Dakota should be next.

I say screw the EPA...we don't need federal funds anyway. We have our own money.

Yeah right. The green morons are going to get put in their place soon. No more holding us hostage for energy and decent jobs. Fracing is safe. There will be occasional incidents like in all drilling, mining, refining, construction, and other industries. But for the majority of wells it will just go unnoticed. When greens time comes it will take over.

Initial research results are expected by the end of 2012. A final report will be released in 2014...........from the EPAs website regarding the study of Fracturing using diesel fuel.
