Hubby does work 70 hours a week but does not haul crude and does not make $26 an hour. Instead, he hauls water and made $110K last year.

That's right, not everyone has what it takes to live and work here but those that do see the rewards. If anyone plans to come here at least plan to be smart and you will soon see the possibilities are endless. Housing is outrageous so we bought a home and our mortgage is about half of what we'd pay to rent this same home. But we decided to be smart and rent out the 2 bedrooms we don't need and BOOM, there is enough to cover the mortgage, taxes, insurance, utilities and even DISH network. Food is high so you buy a freezer and stock up when you shop outside the patch.

The winters are long and hard but he gets a week off every 3-4 and then he flies to Florida where he sits poolside and drinks cold beer and enjoys the beautiful condo that this ND "foreskin" paid for.....mortgage free cuz he paid cash. Better yet, when we are not there it's income property, along with the mortgage free home we left 2 states away when we moved here.

Meanwhile, we get to live amongst some of the finest people in a wonderful, family oriented community here in NW ND. The oil brought us here but the fine people keep us here. There is a reason that God decided to bless this "foreskin" with oil.

Please stay in Cali and keep the libtards there with you!

    Hi UpNorth,

Here in Florida... Where's your condo? Went up to Williston last Fall to scout things out... Just got my CDL (PTEC out of St. Pete) and am looking to head back up there. Any tips on Trucking Companies that are hiring at present.

Golfer, we are in Bonita Springs.
Plenty of trucking companies hiring with spring around the corner. I suggest you get some driving experience before you head up here. Keep your eye on jobsnd.com and also the classifieds in the Williston Shopper, which is online.

    Good Luck!

Thanks UpNorth.. been checking the Jobsnd, Shopper and Craigslist (I know... be careful of Craigslist), etc. I am in Bradenton/Sarasota but lived in Ft Myers for a couple of years... My class had us put in 1,000 road miles (night/day), not enough... but a start, plus I've done off-roading and drove some in the Military... Keep us updated.

Golfer, that military experience weighs heavy up here. They are very patriotic and support vets. I know a few guys that got hired or put to the top of the pile for being vets.

Thanks for the info, upnorth. I'm in Colo right now, willing to relocate to nd or Texas, the leftist state of California has moved here to Colo, cities are passing no fracking, but the state is suing longmont and next is fort collins.

Hey Golfer, I'm from Sarasota and have been up here since Oct. Working for MBI for last 3weeks running double bottoms hauling Production water. I recommend giving them a shot, there hiring a lot of drivers lately and depending on our resume they still might hire you. Do not come up here without a game plan and stay away from small time O/O its just not worth it, unless you like living like an animal (been there done that....sucks) MBI has awesome benefits, start at 22hr for drivers, I'm on nights so its 25 and pays ot, housing is 600a month. run 12 on 12 off and can usually work 60 - 70 a week no problem. PM me ad ill be glad to help you out. check out my profile page I have a gallery with some cool pics from the patch, it will give you an idea what you can look forward to. Its not for everyone but if you can handle it the rewards are worth it.

Hi VMaggs... Ditto on the rotation questions... Are you 14/14 or 21/7? MBI is on the top of my list... went out to Williston Oct. of last year to scope it out and stopped by MBI outside of Dickinson to see about their Frac jobs... seems like a pretty good operation... just trying to get enough posts (7) so I can PM you...
