So you want to lease to Greatwide

This is what it should be, not $186.00 in a week of running hard, These leases are such a rip off.

 

i cant imagine running like and animal all week working 70 plus hours and after all that the paycheck is 200.00. Can you just walk away from the contract? I know NOTHING OF THE O/O LIFE and i never plan too. I work for cardinal as a company driver on a dedicated run looking forward to seeing what the GREATWIDE merge brings in the weeks ahead.

 

From what I have heard, its ONLY the Greatwide Logistics Accts that are going to Cardinal. The trucking dryvan division will stay as Greatwide along with the container division. Cardinal and Centerbridge only wanted the Logistics side to make one of the largest (if not the largest) Logistics Group in the country. Over 5,000 trucks and 126 DC accounts. A billion dollar revenue machine...WOW. Be safe out there drivers.

There are companys with walk away leases you just have to search for them.on the other hand I know a few lp drivers doing great. You have to have the right dispatcher and the right company.you will have good weeks and bad. One think to remember is read and asm before you sign. Stay in your lane and out of the truck stops. I know drivers that are constantly late delivering loads and turn down loads.your didpatcher can make you or break you . Have a great day

 

i got a job offer driving for an O/O at great would this be something to consider, or is there just no money to made at Great wide?

 

If he pays on a 1099,

avoid at all costs......

 

i got paid on 1099 for years
