I can't find a chicken hawk now! I saw a dead one (bet that made a thump) and another flying. I hope my little company truck airhorn can knock one off a post.
I have a real train horn at home but I'm too lazy to hook it up.

The other day on WY 220 highway there were two deer standing on a bridge.....I did not want a repeat of what happened on the 10 S/O of Tucson when I nailed a dog.....I slowed down and blasted the horns...the deer finally got the idea and went off the side....

    Can't say that I have.

The one I love is blasting the air horn going past golf courses and driving ranges! Learned that from my second trainer.

I knew one stupid that actually took the dare (well, didn't KNOW him, but was behind him) to "knock the hat off that bear" and he actually hit the horns as he went by. Didn't work, but he scared the crapola outta that lawdog for a sec.

Do you remember when the bear got stuck on the old bridge by Donner two years ago? Some honked and scared the bear and he jumped, but landed on the underside of the bridge. The rescue made the national news.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Mustang look-a-like Capri built in the 80s, and not the flop roadster-like Capri made in the 90s.
No, but I have wanted to pull up behind the bear, get out, run up to him and say, "Thank GOD you pulled this crazy SOB over, officer. He flew by me 50 miles back in excess of 100 mph and threw a baggie with some white powder in it out the window."

I reckon it's the thought of that stunt coming back to bite me in the arse that's kept me from doing this. That, and the possibility of the officer panicking when I came running up to him in the middle of a vehicle stop. I kinda like breathing. :yes2557:
