I did read the full thread. His inquiries were not limited to Roehl. Period.

We can go back and forth on this is you want. I'll post a site found on the Internet. You'll post another. I'll post an article. So on. I'll just cut my losses. You win. As I mentioned, which would have saved your frivolous search some medical Dr's will say one thing and another something else. I've been through it, in it and covered in it. If you have a phobia you have a "mental illness". It's debatable. It's science. So it's all theory. I'll just leave it there.

I have no issue with a hair follicle test. My credit history is great. The ROEHL driver-training program is an option, (as is any 'obtain CDL-A through company' program) but not what I've got my heart set on. I would like to obtain my permit/CDL-A through a local school in my home state.

I have little to no issue applying to "2nd chance" companies, as I am mainly looking to gain experience. I currently have no financial obligations. No car. (I drive a family owned vehicle, yes I am insured) I live with family rent free. I have no qualms about needing any sort of home time, in fact, I would most-likely be moving to the terminal state/city. I have no issue with teaming with little to no home-time at all, honestly. I would like to apply to well-paid positions & hope that I would get a well-paid position, but I will accept the fact that I cannot get hired at a higher paying company if I need to, after I have given it my best.

Getting my CDL just does not seem like a death sentence. haha. I would much rather work toward a goal than continue working labor or food service or retail. I would be happy doing local flatbed or dump truck as well, for the experience. My goal is to save up money right now. Maybe for schooling... maybe for a family if a family comes sooner than later.

Can anyone say without a doubt that getting this CDL may come back to bite me in the ###, and it will actually be money WASTED? That's ultimately the question I need answered. lol.
