Yep, it’s why I always have a pair of polarized sunglasses with me.

I mean no disrespect, but solar glare affected WW2 fighter pilots, tis' nothing new. Like my old man that never wore any eye protection, "just turn your head and squint", he'd say. Same here, it doesn't last long, and a good time for a break. Polarized glasses, visor extensions, or just plain "squint it out", it can be very dangerous, so much so, traffic reports often say "sun glare alert" for those that simply must press on.

If your windshield hasn't been changed in a few years; even though it may not have any cracks it can still get a lot of fine pitting from basically being sand blasted over the months and years of travelling on the highways. This pitting can result in excessive glare and the windshield may need to be replaced just due to age.

Have you tried turning down the brightness in the menu? I stared directly at that pic for minutes and didn’t have a problem!

Not really a problem if you learn how to use the equipped sun-visors.

I just had a window tint shop throw a "limo black" tint strip on the Inside of the windshield that came down to about the bottom of the visors. Well that and kept the seat off the floor.

We all deal with this on a daily basis. Sunglasses and pull the sun visor down.

That’s the reason why I replaced mine and it makes a huge difference.

I have a pair of sunglasses which would make the folks you traipse up and down Mt. Everest proud. Works for me.
