Solar Panels on Trucks and Trailers

    And for those like me that choose to drive at night when there is alot less traffic and sleep during the day, the solar panels will preform even better allowing me to not idle saving fuel to pad the bottom line.

    So the point is back up energy, meaning no one gets a call to come out and give you a jump start ?

    Yes and to pad the bottom line by less fuel used for idling and lower maintainence cost of battery replacements. The higher you can keep the voltage on batteries, the longer they will last.

    True, also no need to run a truck engine to use a refrigerator or microwave.

    Climate control or other comforts to keep that engine turned off.

    I am not going to use the trailer myself but the surface available on the tractor to remain independent of my panels.
