Hello,
My name is Mark Ellison. I saw your post and wanted to reach out and let you know that I am interested in team driving. Some highlights about myself: I'm a non-smoker, who's old enough to have retired from both the military and teaching, but who's still young enough to want to work for another 10 years. My driving experience includes nine months OTR and six months local pulling doubles. If you're interested in exploring the possibility of team driving together, I would like to learn more about you. Finally, I would love to team drive for Hobby Lobby, they pay well, have good benefits, and their values, beliefs, and culture align with me and who I am as a Christian. However, I am open to considering other companies, as well.
Blessings,

Thanks for your spot super appreciate
I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
Sounds like hobby lobby might be a great opportunity
How long do you normally stay out on the road and when you have home time how long are you normally home before returning to the road
Not sure what kind of income you're used to making or looking to make
I have been driving off and on since 1992 lot of OTR lot of local work as well
Due to finances looks like I will be returning to the road OTR just not sure of what company because there's so many out here advertising and you truly don't know what's really a good situation and definitely a lot of scary lease purchase so-called opportunities...
Of course I have a class A CDL with tanker and hazmat I also have passenger endorsement for other opportunities
I normally like to stay on the road somewhere between 2 to 3 weeks maybe a month all depending
Also originally I forgot to advertise that I have an English bulldog his name is Gizmo super friendly he will travel with me since there's no one to care for him for the time I would be out on the road super truck ready he is
53 years of age and just looking for a good lucrative safe opportunity
Please let me know have a blessed day -
Good Afternoon,
Gizmo is cool with me, I posted the information on Hobby Lobby for you to look over, from what I can tell we're both qualified to drive for them. The other companies I've looked at as contingencies are KLLM and Covenant. There are a lot of companies out there but these are the best ones that I have found for which I am qualified to drive for with less than a full year of OTR experience. As for time out on the road between home time, I'm flexible, but to make it more economically feasible I was looking at a month out each time. Additionally, I have all the endorsements as well as a current TWIC card. I have a couple of VA appointments already scheduled for next month, so I will be available to start on or after September 29th. If all this still sounds good to you, please call or text me at: 602-315-3082; or, email me at mark.ellison65@gmail.com.
Blessings,
Mark -
The KLLM Expedited division is your best bet imo. Teams are given 2026 Peterbilts w/ virtually no miles on the odometer (microwave, TV & refrigerator included). If one you has five years (60 months) verifiable experience, they the both of you will be receiving top pay (.87 cent per mile split). Performance bonuses could an extra 10 cents per mile depending on how hard you two run. It wouldn't take too long for the two of you to learn the system at all. -
Turdzthaword and lual Thank this.
