I cringe when a broker says 10 day pay?
All my personal customers and the vast majority of my brokered freight is COD.Coffey and jamespmack Thank this. -
Why even run loads for people that take that long to pay? I feel a trolling factorer.
Midwest Trucker, Dino soar, God prefers Diesels and 3 others Thank this. -
I can accept 30. Day 31 I'm knocking on doors.
I have 3 brokers that pay 7 and under. One has somehow got a paper check in my mailbox in 3 days multiple times. I was impressed. I can't send a check or letter that fast.
One great customer pays 7 or less. Of its over 7, it is the post office. Those ladies run a tight office.
Conversation is over if you want credit with me over 30 days. I'm not a bank, I dont finance anyone.Tug Toy, exhausted379, Brettj3876 and 2 others Thank this. -
I am really lucky and blessed that the segment that I’m in doesn’t operate that way.
Who ever came up with the genius idea that work should be done and then paid for 60-90 days later is an idiot.
Every one including brokers and carriers should be paid when the job is completed to satisfactory standards.Tug Toy, Coffey, jamespmack and 1 other person Thank this. -
The poll should read would you bla bla bla to be paid in less than 30. No.
Who are the 2 people who answered yes to this troll poll. LOL.Last edited: Apr 15, 2021

Need more like JTA Pro. The third time I hauled for them, I emailed POD and got a reply back ten minutes later: "You're paid." Just hauled another load recently for them, and finished up after COB Friday. I was up invoicing Monday at about 6am. Ten minutes after I emailed the invoice, I get a reply back: "I already processed this. You should see the money in your bank by tomorrow." Crazy. The first three loads I hauled, they paid before I even had a chance to invoice at all. I asked why. He said: "I'm trying to change the industry one load at a time." Their pay is average for load board freight, but man do they not mess around with payment.
Long FLD, Tug Toy, staceydude and 2 others Thank this. -
Midwest Trucker and Mattflat362 Thank this.

PLS is a little slow but I think we usually get paid from them in 4 to 6 weeks. They're about the slowest.
I have had a few take up to about 6 weeks but other than that they're generally within 30 days.God prefers Diesels Thanks this. -
My bank informed me that our business accounts are not protected at all so I had to change everything.
I know I could just do it and then simply move the money quickly.God prefers Diesels Thanks this.
