I tried to warn him, but he was dazzled by Michael Houston's theatrical performance.

So who repaired the amp properly?

I think that's yet to be determined.
I know who has the amplifier but I'll Reserve any judgment until he gets it back and has an opportunity to test it and even then his opinion is kind of worthless.

Wow. It's discouraging to see that kind of "work" being sold out there.

    rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

Ok, so I found the original video. I've seen some of Michael Houston's videos and he appears to know what he's doing. Buuut.... if he really was the one who put that RCI wire harness through those holes drilled in the back, he needs to be gently reminded, with a tap to the forehead by a five pound hammer, not to EVER do something like that.

Seriously, if my amp came back with something like that on it, I'd probably drive all the way to Texas to kick his ###.

    Ougigoug and rabbiporkchop Thank this.

The idiot that drilled the hole through the case and fished the stolen RCI cable through the hole is the same guy that made this video about me. At least Michael Houston was smart enough to recognize the danger of the cable shorting out against the metal case.

Ok... so help me out here. Mike Houston is Pure Power / 442... right? I didn't see any Texas star repair vids except for one for Ken, and that one didn't have an RCI cable in it.

    rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

Michael Houston AKA pure power 442 probably deleted his video to conceal the evidence. Scorpion has the radio now. Time will tell how it turns out. Here's another one he did for someone else and he refers to his Hewlett-Packard service monitor as a Hewlett-Packard machine. Apparently he blew it up the other day doing something he shouldn't have been doing. He has that service monitor for theatrical presentation only and he doesn't really have a clue how to use it although he's learning how to use it to conceal harmonic's from his customers.

It is amazing that the real good people don’t depend on YouTube to act like they know what they are doing.

My youngest boy can repair these two and four device amps when he was 7, so what makes these idiot special.
