Calex is looking for responsible drivers for its expanding fleet. Positions are available for cross-country, regional, local and shuttle routes. We work with our drivers to find lanes that agree with your preferences and our needs.
Some job hopping and a year in a charter bus has sunk me

Here's a couple more you can check with; not sure they hire with a long gap in driving though. Freymiller does hire with a long gap though.

I took 3 months off and I'm looking to go back, do you think that will be a barrier to a new job? I have 14 months experience (12 months OTR).
-
No problem; can probably be back to work by Monday.
What type job do you want?
Which city/town are you in or near? -
I have been working out of Dallas and the address on my license is Austin, TX. I don't really care where I work out of but I do need somewhere to park my car (I don't have a house or apartment). In a perfect world I would be able to find some sort of dedicated out and back run but I'm not picky. I was doing Eastern 37 states OTR with Schneider and only quit because over half of my runs were under 300 miles with at least a live load or unload. If I am doing OTR and living on the road I want to avoid local type runs as much as possible. I'm also not averse to running reefer.
TIA! -
You're golden; several companies to choose from.
I thin Freymiller's average length of haul is something like 1200 miles.

Try J Rayl. I drive out of the Sunnyvale terminal (just east of Dallas). Good outfit.
