It's a helluva alot more to a truck than a engine to worry about.

Everyone says what you can’t do. I started out not only broke, but almost short on my bills. Only reason, was in order to make more money. That was 24 yrs ago

    That's how I started.

A lot of luck, a lot of listening, a lot of help and you can do anything.

As they say: "It kinda loses its glamor after you prove to them you can do it".

And lots of people cannot stand prosperity. Get started;make a few killings on some lanes or loads, then take "some" time off. Hit it again and steady for a while. Then "able to take a break". Comes
back and competition has slipped in and left with his load yesterday. Either wakes up and get after it or goes on down.

Or moves on to other loads.

Spot market is great for some of us.

I see both sides of that but I like spot market and it's never boring. It is stressful and scary some days but it's also rewarding other days and never boring. It beats the heck out of doing the same thing every day and pays better too.

    "Stressful and scary."

    This.

It keeps me on my toes. I can totally relate to guys who want the same load(s) every day. But, I need that fear factor.

Hell, I hate climbing ladders. So, i jumped out of an airplane just to prove that I could do it.

Something ain't right in my head, but i embrace it and push it every single day. We get this one life and when it's done I want to be able to say that I actually lived my life.

    Hehehe. Sounds dramatic....
