a dry van around $25k for a 2018-20 where are you getting these numbers? You have a great location to buy them? Please share and also those 2020 trucks that are only 60K. We need information to take you seriously!
Well, if you had really read this entire thread you would know that I have contributed to it a few times. Of course you sound as if the 1,317 post in this thread that appeared before yours didn't meet your high standards, and your rather simplistic advice was the new standard for new O/O's. Perhaps you should start your own how-too thread for new O/O's so the rest of us can critique it. That would be a real hoot.
Not a fan of Auction houses, I figured he had a hook up for buying without trying to bid on a truck from how he stated it. Seemed to be his norm!
https://www.truckpaper.com/listings...eeper-trucks/manufacturer/kenworth/model/t680 2020 looks to be 90K or so for a T680 pretty far off when saying 60K unless you get lucky and find one at an auction house I guess.
Couldn’t give 2 hoots but for **its & giggles maybe y’all use the Google Bible search and find atleast the correct prices before slamming someone to the ground as you sofa warriors cruise these forums
There are plenty of resources available to get you a truck out there. If you’re willing and able - Ritchie bros has auctions all over the country - and you can get a Wally World semi with around 500k for a great deal. I could go on and on - how to make money - just shake a leg and feel free to ask questions- some of us on this forum are more than willing to guide new O/O without developing an aneurism!
And there you have it folks. We have a new super trucker on TTR who is a self-proclaimed expert on everything related to being a successful Owner Operator. He knows how to find a cheap used truck, so it should be obvious that he knows everything else about making a fortune in trucking. We are all saved I tell you. In less than 1 year and only 60 posts on TTR, he has made trucking the easiest and most profitable line of work in the country. HALLELUJAH !!!!!!!
An apt Looney Tunes ending ! That’s the way this forum rolls boys n girls - The Google Bible search must’ve struck a nerve with all the apparent soul saving and hallelujah’s! Trucksmarter is a free load board search engine App - use it to find loads. And I’m sure someone will pipe in - with tips. Sorry about not posting enough - I usually help out with mechanical issues and not the coffee table hen talk party - patting each other on the back!
