My Phone stays wrapped in Tinfoil..
    I doubt they're intercepting my Calls/Texts.

On the other hand..I'm not a US Citizen, so they're prolly trying extra hard to intercept mine.
Might need to find something better than tinfoil..

    hmmmm

Absolutely nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to cell phones, computers and the like. We have left ourselves open to everyone knowing everything about us. I believe it is part of the "dumbing down" of America.

Just try to keep personal information off line. If you have a credit/debit card or driver's license it's on the internet. If you own a home, it's on the internet. Take prescription drugs? It's on the internet. And so much more.

You know those calls you get from Your Credit Center or some such garbage? It is VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol,) and is bounced around all over the place. Try to call the number shown on your caller ID for this, (and many other outfits,) and all you get is a message from the phone company, telling you "This Number Is Not In Service."

Something is wrong in this story.
Look : WHO - Les Goldsmith, the CEO of ESD America, used ESD's CryptoPhone 500 to detect 17 bogus cellphone towers.
WORKING FOR -ESD is a leading American defense and law enforcement technology provider based in Las Vegas.
CONCLUSION - DEFENSE discovered DEFENSE equipment:biggrin_2555:
All this fear story simply for the sales increase CryptoPhone500.
BTW. Big Bro don't have to erect bogus towers. They are welcomed to use real.

Almost any phone call you make except maybe one to your next door neighbour will be a VOIP call. Even if you have a normal POTS (Copper lines) inside your house once it gets back to TelCo they'll switch it over to a VOIP system to make it cheaper an easier to transmit to where it needs to go.

Ya I thought the same thing when I read that article Snailexpress. Just read as an advertisement rather then an actual news article.

Also don't forget a little scaremongering on top of it to make people go out and buy their overpriced device to make sure they can know where fake towers are too.

Too late! The FBI, CIA and many other three letter agencies have been piercing tinfoil hats for years. So you had best do what the voices tell you!:biggrin_25526:
