You don't turn any accessory charges to Amazon. They already have it as a line item on the rate. They figure the routing and if there is a toll, they put it on as an accessory charge. Same as FSC.

Never hauled for amazon so didnt know how it was handled. That said its the same thing in the end. Unless the bill is sent directly to amazon. Then it comes out of the owners pockets. If the owner doesnt pay a toll but was payed in the rate he keeps the toll.

Persionally i find it scummy as all hell and feel it will eventually backfire on them. Oh well shady business operators are usually the ones who you see coming here going "halp the IRS is after me because i did derp, how do i make them go away?"

This article makes the most sense and it appears that getting caught with an obscured tag isn’t a big deal..at least in Oregon.

I have gotten many toll bills in the mail and the images are always from the front tag not my trailer tag. I did receive a speed camera ticket once and the images were from the rear of my vehicle. I think red light cameras also grab the rear tag.

Well , most states have decided that stealing less than $950 is not a crime , lots of DAs refusing to prosecute a lot of crimes , so why all the sudden people skipping tolls is a problem?

It's all a problem. I'm not the one who decided not to prosecute anything. I'm not a DA.
