Who remembers getting the sticky note from WY POEs that you put in your windshield? Only one stop required as long as you didn't pick up anywhere.
Someone explain Wyoming Port of Entry!

Yeah, they have "hidden rules" aside from what written in black and white. They can think you are an idiot, and bring you in to check things out if you only follow the B&W signs, depending on who is working. Can't count the times I've heard "you don't need to stop if you've clear the proceeding port of entry", yet the FAQ and B&W sign outside says otherwise... It's whatever mood the "scalemaster" is in at the time. They all need to be run over by a lawn mower.

I have asked about Gillette before.
Their sign says they're open 7-7 except holidays..
So I asked at Sundance when I got the red light one day, and the officer told me if I went in at Sundance or Sheridan.. or got the green light clearing me (which told me one of the two was gonna happen 100% of the time) that I didn't have to exit at Gillette.
Gillette was for the north/south routes and local haulers in the area.. not i90 thru traffic.
I've heard "stories" of east west traffic being chased down... but I've never seen it happen.. EVER.
Stories are easy to make up.Trucker61016 and Tall Mike Thank this. -
its all for your safety and the safety of the motoring public lol
Tall Mike Thanks this. -
I won’t accept the excuse that the Antelope requested it.
I’m filing a grievance with the union.

Pull in, park, wait a couple minutes, then drive off......repeat as needed
or just blow by the thing I’ve never seen anyone chased down.. -
For instance, leaving Montana and heading East. You are required to stop in Sheridan, but you are not required to stop in Gillette or Sundance. That's on I90. Eastbound!!
Heading west on I90, You are required to stop at Sundance and Sheridan.
The Sheridan Port, is shared with the state of Montana. So you have to stop there regardless.
In Cheyenne, once you stop at that Port, your good all through the state.
Always stop at Sheridan Port, It's a Dual Port. Mt/WyoLoneCowboy and Truckermania Thank this.
