Okay so some of you might have herd my story with FedEx ground. Basically dream job gone tits up for me.So I am looking for a new company and want go go otr. It will help me get ahead again, I am very good at saving cash.
After I lost my job at fedex I went to transam had to come home for family emergency. My mom was in icu for 2 weeks transam did not like the fact that I was home so they terminted me.. (sorry my mom is #1 to me).... im sure I could go back there but they kinda showed me they dont care about driverss....
So I am looking for a company I have applied to abilene and waiting a response. But I am looking for is to be home 7-10 days. Team driving would be nice but not mandatory. I am use to running 600 miles a day so high drop and hook, not stupid slow trucks would be great....
I just dont no where to look, I just want to work and save money. I run real hard..... trucking compaines where I live are few and far bewteen or just low paying. No ltl company is hiring in my area till around march.. unless someone quits....
Help please.....
Im so lost right now....
Someone help a fellow trucker out.

And why did your dream job at FedEx "gone tits up" ?
-
buy your own truck
Trucker42BC Thanks this. -
Happened back in August. Had a an accident that was was determined not at fault and was was terminated. I guess but Fedex won't release any info when they fired me and won't release anyinfo to me about the accident at all.
Its a very long and confusing whole deal. And makes ZERO sense at all.
Worked there 18 months with zero violations up to the accident. -
Your profile says you from Syracuse - there are couple walmart DC's up there. Johnstown and Marcy I believe.
But if they put that accident as preventable on your record, even if not at fault...there may be a problem.
Buy a truck or try some less than reputable companies hiring anyone.
Whatever you do - best of luck to you driver !Trucker42BC Thanks this. -
