If you want to shame them, call them out by name for their actions. I guarantee that they are not the least bit ashamed of what happens in a private hearing by an unemployment insurance office, because nobody is going to hold them to account for actions that no one knows that they took part in.

Shout it from the rooftops. Call them out by name, here. Talk about it in truck stops. Call in the media, if they'll listen. Send letters to the Transportation Secretary, your Congressmen and Senators, Chambers of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau, the Department of Labor, and whatever state employment development boards or employment-related legislative committees you can find. Give the carrier a reputation for their vindictive and petty behavior, and spread it far and wide to their current and prospective employees, customers, and suppliers.

If you actually start to have an effect on them, they may threaten to sue, but it's not libel if what you tell people is, in fact, the truth of what happened. And after all, six months from now, you will find out what all the lies were that they told about you, on your DAC report... If they threaten you for telling people how they suck (instead of making a fool out of you by not sucking, in the first place), then that's just evidence that it's working.
