If blow one brake diaphragm, you can pinch the air line and cage that brake to get you rolling.

I make every turn wide. I'd rather take the space and wind up not actually needing it.

Everytime I drive through Wyoming I get furious at the Elephant races... Truck drivers passing at half a mile to 1mile an hour faster if lucky than the truck on the right... takes them 5+miles to make a #### pass.

Keep in mind I dont drive truck yet so thats in a passenger car and me trying to go 80.

Never drink the yellow liquid found in the bottles lying around in the truck stop, it can be hazardous to your health if consumed.

You can blame governors for those slow passes. My last tractor was governed at 66MPH on those long stretches of highway I always tried to keep a watch behind me. Then when it looked clear I begun my pass. Sometimes I did hold someone back, but if I saw it would take a long time and other traffic was coming I backed out of it. If I were in heavy traffic I just accepted the situation. In my years on the road the thing I noticed most truckers lacked that they sorely needed was patience. I seen a trucker ran off from a dock because of impatience. He was later banned and his carrier had to repower the load. I've seen more fistfights then I care to remember mostly at fuel islands because of impatience. I know all OTR drivers have that dang 14 hour clock and delivery and pickup appointments. However in all my years OTR I never had a serious problem with running out of time.
