Pretty sure the temp controlled loads are not reefer.

I'm puzzled how you might control temperature without a reefer.

Seems like reefer loads would pay more than dry van. Have you seen the rates?

There are no reefer loads on Choice that I have seen the past two years...

The temperature control loads are usually just 'don't let the product freeze'....

    Roll on....

    Grijon and Lepton1 Thank this.

What's an expected average $/mile from the board?

The only refer loads that you will see being pulled are dedicated accounts. No refer loads on Choice Board but there are Protect from freezing loads .

All depends on the IC. Where you're running, what type of loads you're willing to run, how long you're willing to stay out, where you live.... A lot of variables come into play.

hey GAPathfinder. When you were with Swift and you were going from Company to Owner-op. Did they have freightliners for sale? What made you go with the prostar?

A general ballpark is all I need. In the oil fields the rates have dropped, but are still averaging well over $3.00 per mile with all miles averaging around $2.35. There's quite a bit of deadhead in this business because it's rare to have a backhaul on day runs.
