soon to be new driver in southwest (el paso area)

Trimac has nothing available in El Paso. Groendyke has occasional listings pop up, right now its OTR, but they have a local cement truck position that comes around about 4 times per year. SVTN? Never seen a thing locally, but I won't fill out an app to see what positions are available, either.

ALL the LTL guys are a long shot. YRC has a current PART TIME Dock Worker / P&D Driver position that pops up from time to time, as well as ABF... but I have never seen a full-time position come available for any LTL in El Paso. The wages there are so poor, people never leave the LTL jobs due to not being able to replace that level of income. WDT occasionally has listings pop up, but I gather the pay is really poor over there.
