I don't understand why these progressive liberal states do everything bassackwards, I mean really they can't take the picture and just give you the license. Is it the same way for a regular License? They mail it to you also.

Indiana mails you both an Operators and a CDL. All you get is a paper copy. But they are pretty quick. I passed my test on a Friday and had my hard copy by Tuesday.

Ahh, I should've perhaps mentioned I was switching from another state (which is a nightmare in PA) not changing classes.

this is not good, if i have to wait 60 to 90 days than companies would probably require a refresher course before i get hired. i better get saving up for a refresher course..

lol, all excited and no where to go,

They changed to mailing too? It was a few years ago but the last Indiana license I got they made right there.

CA mails it. They say up to 90 days but I think I got it in two weeks. I think most states are trying to get away from printing IDs at the local level due to employees making fraudulent IDs in the past.

thanks for the heads up bigs - if that is the case i guess i will try to patiently wait. some good news, i did get my grades in the mail today from the CDL school I attended, and have to admit, not to shabby..
i reckon in the interim just keep researching companys to determine which would be best for me..
there are alot of goods sites out there, but this forum right here has proven to be a wealth of knowledge for me..

Thanking you all for taking the time...
