    Florida is in and out. I was $90 lighter, but in and out with my original years ago and my renewal 3 years ago.

    In SC you walk out the door with CDL class A...If you get hazmat you have to wait.

    sbgogirl - i will be getting a hazmat,- as i understand it will open up alot of doors within the industry, however - not just yet. being fresh out of school i would like to gain some experience out there before even thinking of hauling haz materials. i would think a company would request such an endorsement only from an experienced driver..
    are you a driver yet sbgogirl ? if so, how is it out there ? best of luck ..

    Some companies require you to have it or be willing to get it in 90 days or so before they will hire you, whether you're fresh out of school or experienced. Just something to ask when you're looking for work.

    keep in mind hazmat stuff isnt always dangerous....a pallet of clorox bleach requires placards

    Thanks AT - yep probably alot of not so dangerous goods would be ok.
