Thank You for posting this! Is this opportunity still available?

I've been thinking about coming out of retirement for a while, as most of my projects and Honey Do's are caught up....and I like Ag tags, did that for a couple of years hauling dust and screenings from elevators to feed lots and dairy farms.

I don't want to waste your time, I live about an hour south of Olympia, WA (and have secure parking available), should that work for you.

I've run Cabbage and the associated hills (Meacham, etc), also the 97 from Biggs to Weed for decades, summer and winter...don't mind chaining, even though I'm old... but, ...I really need a manual transmission. I'm so sorry, don't know how the industry reached this point. I have run auto shifts a couple of times when my tractor broke down and I got a loaner but I just don't know how people run those safely going downhill in the winter??

If your truck has a manual transmission, I'd love to talk!!

    Thank you very much,
    Brian

Thank you. We have a made an offer and it was accepted with a start date this week.

You are right, the world is moving to auto's, and our new truck is as well. I've not had issues driving it safely down Cabbage, even at 85K. Just set it and forget it. I'll agree it's a PIA on snow and ice getting around the farm, but figuring out how to put it in manual solved most of that.

TX2Day and Jedi Knight Thank this.
