I’m more likely going to stick to P&D as of now but you’re saying after a full day city guys go a do a shuttle type run? Or new city guys do linehaul at first?
Sparks, Nv which company to work for?

Unfortunately it does. Sacramento is pretty bad, most of the time you get out of Reno on time or close to your gate time but I know it’s an issue I got sick of.Another Canadian driver and REO6205 Thank this.

Yeah that’s the issue why I left, I had to be on days due to having my kids full time and moving over to city I’d be at the bottom of that board. The guy that was currently at the bottom of the city board had been covering one of the linehaul bids for over 6 months. The extra board guy was also covering a run and is currently covering my old bid. I would maybe look into FedEx freight if you want to stick with p&d because as of now they can’t fill the linehaul spots.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

10-4. See an ad for OD and SAIA for city driver. FedEx is all linehaul opportunities.

Saw it when we were up there Mother’s Day weekend. Should be pretty nice. The whole outlets area is great

I have delivered a bunch of boom lifts over there about a month ago and just picked them up two weeks ago. They are wrapping it all up and it’s looking pretty cool!

I just took a quick glance at indeed and the amount of trucking jobs available for Reno/Sparks is mind blowing, including LTL jobs, I am pretty sure that's not a good thing for the trucking companies, but for us drivers I honestly love the fact that there is that many options out there.

How do you like working for SAIA? Obviously P&D is different but looking to get a feel for the company and the terminal itself. Want to really build up my seniority where I want to be.
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Yep, I think it's safe to say you won't have issues finding a job up here, just pick what color truck you want to be in lolAnother Canadian driver and Chinatown Thank this.
