Sparkys CB Shop?? WTH???

Ray, do me a solid and post all of my stuff on Sparky's Forum. Don't just pick what you think makes your case, and leave me hanging while you insult me due to my lack of posts on another forum, and my inability to respond since I have no access. If you are going to quote me then quote all of my post, and don't censor me on Sparky's forum. I'm sorry that you don't agree with me, but let's not debate this one sided. Give Connie my best. Oh by the way, you haven't answered me yet. What does "reportedly" mean. Directly from him or not? Waiting...

Just read on cb radio talk that he had 2 serious strokes and is hoping to be back up and running by the end of July. He was not ignoring you, he is seriously sick. You got you money back so your B!tch!ng should be done.

Now send some money to Radio active radios and get one of their Hack Pack jobs.

"I know Al isnt overwelmed with repairs anymore. How do i know? Because i repaired everythink before i was laid off. Hes never at the shop anymore. I drive by there at least 4 times a week. I dont know why the website has'nt ben shut down yet but it was supposed to be done weeks ago and i was told by Al himself that all repairs were going back. Dont know what or why sparkyscbshack has took a turn for the worst. But as a personal friend of Al's i hope everything turns out good for him and everyone else. This seriosly needs to come to a good ending."

 

Have you looked at your calender lately, it's August! How do you know he is seriously sick? More rumors. Facts are what everybody needs my friend.

The reason I question the authenticity of the info I've been receiving is because it came as a direct reply to a direct message I sent via the Sparky's CB Shack Facebook page. It could have been anyone that started that page. How am I to know that it's Al himself that has that page? The fact that you never see him post on his own message forum makes me leery that it's actually him sending me updates via FB. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I was told additional information that would answer several of the questions members have had since all this started, but was asked by Al, to keep that to myself for now. I'd like to think I was conversing (via FB) with Al himself, but who knows.

As far as doubting what was originated here, if I insulted you, then I'm sorry. Yes, I've been a member of this forum for quited sometime. I used to visit everyday, but stopped that some time ago. I found this place (don't take this the wrong way) to be full of very incorrect information and more sadly, was the memberships unwillingness to learn the correct information. There are a few in this CB Radio section that sound like they have their act together and are properly informed and pass along the correct info. It's been my experience, the majority are flat-out ignorant to the correct info and even worse, argue with you when you want to properly inform them. I've got better things to do with my time, so I don't stop by here anymore.

When I saw the post copies to Sparky's site, I was able to trace it back to here. When I saw it came from a member who I've never heard of, with only 7-posts over here, coupled with the experiences I've already had with this board, I quickly discounted the post. On top of that, when I weigh that vs. what I believe I have from the source himself, I throw the ######### flag. Again, if you're offended, sorry, but that's how I feel about the subject. I hope we all learn the true facts soon to put this all to bed. I hope that the info I was given was authentic and from Al himself and not some j*rkoff that opened the Sparky's CB Shack FB page sometime ago and is just playing games with me.

Hey, Great news maybe! As of 1120 CDT Al was in the shop. I was talking to someone who was in the shop standing face to face with Al...verified fact. I could even her him in the background. We didn't get into a whole lot about anything other than my internet order, which since, I have learned that the P.O.S (point of sale), is in CA. The guy that I talked to said that Al was working on turning things around, and said Al's help at the shop was the problem. Al said that he was going to credit my account by this afternoon, and it would show up on my statement by Monday or Tuesday. To be factual, this is third party since I didn't talk to Al personally, but trust the go between. I am not convinced that without my persistence the situation would not be where it is, but giving Al the benefit of the doubt he is not in Barbados. I'm confident in my source, who has also had it with dealing with the issue. I hope Al is able to turn things around, but based on the history it looks bleak to me, because there has been hope before according to other posters only to be left out in the cold. Based on all of my research, that has been pretty extensive. Al used to run a good shop. Regardless of the reason for the decline; I hope he turns it around. I would give him another chance someday if there is evidence that warranted of same. Regardless, no one can justify the lack of communication which is still going on for most.
