I guess I should mention that this salary option is not limited to just the i5 corridor. We also offer a very similar option for our otr drivers. It may be the exact same, I’m not sure. It is brand new and I’m off on my own tiny “separate” division of the company.

Lol I agree. But why would it matter if you are on salary? Hello 55mph! It no longer matters.

Nothing,if you like people 10 feet off the back of your trailer all day long. And the the idiots who speed up when you're halfway around them and try to trap you in the left lane.

It's all the flying monkeys along that route. Every hilltop smells like urine, a lot of it is only two lanes, OR drivers that list to slow down and hand out next to you when they "pass" and flash their lights to tell you the obvious. No thanks. Portland and Seattle. Gee Cee's bacon wrapped pork can't even negate that BS. :)

I'm shopping for a new job. With ATS for now. SPD sounds interesting for sure. They have a couple of yards near where I live here in the carolinas. Thanks for this info.

I will be starting with SPD in a week, depending on how my current employer treats my two week notice (may have to delay one more week). Have a couple years driving experience, but only a couple months of flatbed and the current company I drive for is not great (safety issues mainly).

Met an SPD driver and reached out to Sean, because I'm a Navy Vet they are bringing me on board. It is going to be nice to not worry about what I'll be bringing home a month. So if you are a military Veteran and have some driving experience under your belt contact them and they may bring ya onboard.

SPD has a no pet policy i think.
They are a Daeske owned company.
    You tired of OTR?
Do you want to be bored to death everyday with traffic?

Incorrect. Pets are fine I believe it’s a 500 dollar deposit.
