The solution IS a proper led flasher, but the ones in stores dont have a low enough resistive load trip
Option 1, kit with inline resistor

Option 2 a real LOW load led flasher.

On all my stuff i run leds in rear and bulbs in front. For me its easier and cleaner to change an 1157 in a “lolly pop” light on the front fender then a rear sitting under a trailer any day. . I haven’t done this personally but a friend of mine just spliced an 1156 into the pilot light pin on the old 3 pin flashers under the dash and says that alone gives enough resistance to run 100% leds.

My thing is I like the look and longer life of the LED. Pete uses this stupid small bulb in the indicator. KW uses a bulb for similar to one for my gauges. I think a 194. At any rate it does provide enough draw as but no use in a Pete. Nothing wrong with an ol school light in front that’s where I would put it . For some reason I get to thinking I don’t match that way. Silly I know. I have thought bout a lollipop on my mirrors and don’t want a led there cause it will be too bright. An 1156 used to be just about right there. I do know it’s a pain in the Johnson I have also considered using the bulb type lights as kinda under glow or what have you.
SmallPackage Thanks this.
