I have pulled a van and a flat with mine. Sold my van the other day. Pulling just the flat now. I have a 4900FA. Same as an EX except a shorter hood. Good for flatbed. Not for van unless you have the extra tall version.
Also pulling a van you may want a more aerodynamic truck. Van freight does not pay as well as flat and you need to save every penny you can.double yellow Thanks this. -
Well id mostly do flatbed just want the option to pull van without killing fuel mileage

Get one with a bolt on top fairing. Take it off when you're running flatbed, and if you're switching to van for more than a few weeks, put it back on. Make sure you get a sliding 5th wheel and on board weight gauges so you can close up that trailer gap pulling a van.
Aerodynamics aren't a huge factor below 55mph, so if you run slow, aero vs hood won't make a huge difference.
