Specing an older truck for B-train

I value your opinion and you're probably right. The more I think about how much I'd have to do to the truck to make me happy it's probably not worth it in the end even though it might be fun. At the end of the end of the day I still have a bottom line to keep healthy. I just saw an ad for a 98 379 with 550 Cat, and 18spd which might suit me better, so I may take a look at something like that. Thanks for your help fellas, it's why I lurk here.
