But if a O/O can drive 65 mph then they only need how much?? These pedal to the metal complaint threads just crack me up.

The pay they giving o/o is a lie anyway...do you really think they gone pay us more then what the company makes off a load no sir...do you really think a company can survive off a 8k paying load and pay a driver 70% of that plus pay employees and all the other cost they have....we will really never know what they charge the customer to move freight...but I can garuntee you its a whole lot more then what they telling us o/o

O/O's paid a percentage of linehaul are entitled to see the original freight bills upon demand at the carrier's principle terminal... that's federal law.

I agree...but the freight bills isnt what the price of the load is on...charges for the load comes on a sales contract...i took a load and had to collect a check and it was 14k...i wasnt supose to opend the envelope but i couldnt think why they had in enclosed unless they were hiding something...

Think about it...gow do they have all these terminals and tractors and trailers and ect...do you think your getting more money then the company off a load...no sir...how do you think they pay they self 87 million after all expenses are paid a year?

Sounds like it's time for you to get your own authority and charge say, 13k instead of the 14k you know they are charging - you will make out like a thief!

I'd certainly be one of them. Hell, I do 55 across the 48.

Much easier on fuel, and I still get my miles in. All it takes is proper trip planning and keeping that left door closed.

I can't count the number of times I've been passed 3-4 times per day by the same trucks running 65+. I guess rest areas & truck stops are terribly interesting and I'm missing out on a lot.

He's talking like a company driver. When you don't have to buy your own fuel, speed is king.

I've seen the original documents on some of my loads, and yes... I'm getting the exact percentage and payments I'm entitled to per my contract. The fact that you are getting screwed dry doesn't mean the rest of us are.

    truckon Thanks this.
