Law says ALL trucks must be speed-limited to a maximum 105 kph in Ontario.
Many are not so I wouldn't worry too much as long as you don't get caught running faster than 105.

They have plugged into my truck at 3 different Ontario scales to be sure my speed limiter was set . It only takes about 5 minutes

What if your diagnostic plug doesn't work? What do they do if they "can't" check it?

I have a friend who can't flash his pickup ECM because of a voltage issue. Another is a mechanic and has had to get power to an OBDII plug because of a bad wire on several trucks.

No I wil go. Been running western Sk. / Ab. No speed limiter law there..
Just been about 8 years since I've been on the eastern side of Canada.

Ld. had a good rate to it. Covered the bobtail out as it was a towaway. Just ended up over 14'8" in height. Was to be legal hgt. was to be 14'1 wide ended up at 13'1"

But no working brakes and a few other issues. Somebody else will get it after they cut part of the unit down to lower the height and get the other issues fixed.
I still made out ok for the time spent there..did not lose any money on it..

whatever you do if u come to ontario or que. dont go over 115km/h or you'll get a ticket either way cause over that they are allowed to assume you dont have your truck limited to 105
