I'm leased to Dart. Seems our lease is very similar to the Hill Brothers. I too fuel
where I want. Get the truck serviced where I want. Go home when I want. Can
take the truck with me if i want, although with Dart you do pay them some cash
to take it. My truck is a 2012 Volvo 630, D11 motor, 12 speed auto trans, twin
screws with super singles. Although my Volvo dealership will set the truck at
any speed I want, because of gearing the truck (ECM) doesn't like the truck
doing faster than 67 for fuel economy purposes, .......and I'm all about fuel
economy.....sole reason I leased this truck.
Speed limiters on leased trucks?

GITRDUN45.... If you read Jason post last line, it says he can take trk to another carrier as LONG AS YOU
MEET THEIR CRITERIA...
Sound like he is NOT jiveing you................ to me..... Why do you feel he has to spill all the facts to you?? -
Because he's the one that posted the thread #1. #2 He's the one Bragging. So show the facts. What's wrong with that if all true?? Maybe I'm interested.

2014 Freightliner Cascadia is $1300 per week, but that includes insurance, plates, permits, etc. Maintenance is all under warranty except for consumables and abuse. You can fuel and have maintenance done where you want, however the in-network fuel discount is big enough that you'd be a fool to go outside of it. You can take as much hometime as you can afford... that's the same anywhere.
Speed limiter? Yep... we're dispatched to Canada so it's set to 65.Last edited: Dec 2, 2013

Oh sounds good. Who you with?
-
Maybe not... that's 13 Ben Franklins per week- sorry for the wrong impression. And that doesn't include fuel.

I kinda figured that's what you meant cause if you was correct that company was about to get flooded with drivers wanting to lease, LOL . Long as your happy is all that counts. GL and stay safe out there.

When they quoted me that number on a lease earlier this year, I rapidly came to the conclusion that buying the truck I was (and am) in was a much better deal.
"Well... what about your re-lease bonus," she says? I'm still laughing about that one!skellr Thanks this. -
And you CAN take a Success Leasing truck to another carrier as long as that carrier meets the criteria and agrees to deduct your lease payment from your settlement.

But iron pony do you not as a lease driver have a right not to go to canada
