I've got a ticket for 12 over I received last year. It wasn't in a CMV and wasn't on a CDL. I know the industry frowns upon 15 over and that pretty much ruins your chances for any job. But can anyone here with ticket experience say if 12 over is a no-go? If it looks like it is, I may take it a step further and petition the court to have it removed, if that's possible. I live in Kansas. Thanks!

USX hired me with a 15 over.
Your fine, some may frown on it but your not anywhere "no go status" -
ok, good. Glad to know I'm not completely out for that. I know companies mostly look for 15 over. I may even try USX.

robthomas Thanks this.

Its less than 15, which is the mark of death. You should be fine. Skip the OTR carriers, and pound the asphalt. Take to the hiring managers and put your best foot forward and you'll be surprised

I got a 12 over ticket doing 67 in a 55 and it never affected anything. you should be fine.

Thanks a lot everyone. Confidence boosted! With my time out of trucking, I'll have to go OTR with a training company to get that time back. I spoke with FFE, and they'll be able to help me out.

I had an 11 over about 2 years ago. I was just hired by a company a week ago.
