It never hurts to try. The worst they can say is no. Apply to any an every company. It's a bad job market drivers, especially new ones. That said, 6 months experience + a 16-20 mph speeding ticket equals a difficult to impossible chance of getting hired somewhere. Companies are taking this freight downturn as an opportunity to clean up their act and safety scores. Now every company's insurance is going to determine you to be a liability for the next 3 years.

It's definitely too late. You needed to lawyer up before going to court. Now you'll need to wait 3 years for that ticket to be rendered obsolete.
