    lol angry much dude?

I am not expecting it to come off my record since last August, I know how the system works.

I did indeed learn a valuable lesson and have not gone over the speed limit since.

I completely understand the school just wants my money, funny how business works. They make the statement of not to guarantee any employment from the class, which I also understand. Not worried about the tuition money, the school here has an amazing rate they charge.
I was just hoping to get some advice from someone that might have had a similar situation happen, and what they did to overcome it.

As I stated in the original post, I am aware I posted this before. I guess its just an OCD quirk of mine to try to get more confirmation on something I asked 6 months ago, just to make sure.
I do apologize if this has caused you anguish of some kind. Thanks for the response though.

the responses will not change by much in the time frame from your first posting of this. all that might change, are some of the respondents.

i have no anguish, i have no pain, i have a job and a great driving record, as i RESPECT my license. some day, when you grow out of your terrible early 20's stage of life (much like the terrible 2's), you will come to realize anything you do now, affects your future.

oh and the great tuition now, can just as easily go away in the future, even the school itself can fold up as well. then where will you be, due to your ticket from your past?

see how the past, can interfere with your future?

    live well.

I completely understand that, as I am not 16 years old. The respondents are what I wanted, to get some different views on things people have actually experienced.

Thanks for stating the obvious though:).

    Enjoy the driving dude

I'm one of those that has had a reckless charge over ten yrs ago.Every state is different what ther defination of reckless is.I got mine in mass parked in a no parking zone on a dirt lot bigjnd McDonald's because their lot was too small for a bobtail and I had time to waste while waiting for dispatcher to come to work and then assign me an empty.I imagine laws are alot tougher then a decade ago with reckless tickets.

you WILL be able to get your CDL, and a job, but time has to be on your side, and a clean record from now on. there was a time parking tickets were not a problem, maybe still aren't. but ALL traffic infractions can be a huge problem. as well as many other arrests/charges/convictions. gotta play the game.

Not that I'm doubting your word but can you give the op a list of those places so he knows where to apply and his search will be much easier.

Companies like Swifts main concern is not safety. The hundreds of photos I have seen proves that. Not saying you rank with the poor drivers because you could very well be one of the good drivers. But the majority of swift drivers don't have the compassion for truck driving and neither does Swift. Its all about money and nothing else.Safety comes second like so many other companies.
