Don't know what kind of company Navajo is, but they sure have some premium equipment. They do a lot of the longer runs out of our DC, bring some in, but they have some really beautiful equipment, its all very new or near new.

Not necessarily. I got an 86 in a 65 (in a big truck!) way back when and it was never considered a reckless. It seems to me it was up to the officer's discretion and it wasn't upgraded to a reckless. I got a different job a year later and they didn't care because it was the only thing on my MVR. The new company just considered it a speeding ticket.

    Btw, @Windir -
I think you should have pleaded dyslexia on the 53 in a 35.

Laws vary greatly between states and localities.

I have seen a wannabedriver with almost the same exact problem before.

He went back to the same judge and explained his predicament.

The judge reopened his case, and changed the outcome. Allowing the wannabe to attend truck driving school.

Judges have amazing power, and this may be an option for you.

    Anythings worth a shot..............

    Good Luck

Don't be a grammar critic. That's not well received here.

I believe the word Pattyj was looking for is "passion".

What you have is considered a "SERIOUS TRAFFIC VIOLATION" "Excessive speeding (15 mph or more above the posted limit)." If you had a CDL.
"CMV AND CDL HOLDER DISQUALIFYING VIOLATIONS"

    Good read... https://www.dmv.de.gov/services/driver_services/faqs/cmv_cdl_holder_violations.pdf

I see "reckless driving charge" being thrown around and want to set the record straight for you.
I am guessing, (because I don't know your state...put it in your profile) all you got with your non-CDL license is a speeding ticket.Reckless driving, you would have had to appear in court.

If I were you, I would call my insurance company and ask how long it will be until it drops off my record. As another poster suggested also getting a copy of your driving record also...perhaps your Ins co. can give you a free copy.

I'm not a driver yet but since I decided to go to school I'm driving with my eyes wide open so as to not even get a parking ticket.
