Thanks for info gentleman , I’m looking for a lawyer , any recommendations? Also does anybody know how badly this will effect my cdl, like if I get one more will I get cdl suspended or 2 more? I plan on getting no more! Most info I see only regards to going over 15mph.

If your driving record is clean and you are not planning on changing jobs anytime soon you should be able to handle the charge. Just do a google search for attorneys in that town. Most have websites. Good luck!

I hope this link can finally put an end to this PSP/CSA points from ONLY speeding tickets myth!

    Link one

Please pay particular attention to the way the data gets into the FMCSA database as explained.

JJ Keller also has a great FAQ on CSA HERE! This CSA myth is getting almost to the point of being on par with the federal marshal myth.

That's what I was going to suggest. If nothing else, if the OP has that drivers legal plan, he's paying for it, it's worth at the very least a phone call.

I used to live in Hurricane Utah with my grandparents finishing up my high school credits. It was almost 20 years ago. I remember they were kinda strict legally. Also lived in Mesquite NV on the other side of those mountains. Kind of a fun little town. Some truck parking available at the casinos. I remember all the casinos but one was owned by a single individual who met on a couple occasions and shook hands with. Seemed nice. I was working security and unknowingly left a parking warning on his truck. lol. He came over and thanked me for doing my job. Was a bit nervous.

What? Go back to bed dude. Smh

Read the title to the thread...PERSONAL CAR There is no CSA/DOT/FMCSA/PSP for your personal car.

OP looks like you’re on tract, get a lwayer & fight it. Bottom line it’s only 7mph over which is not a huge deal, but the way it sounds...i got nabbed going 87mph...makes you sound like out law. Remember most bug company trucks are goverened at 65 or less. They would faint at the thought of 90mph. Lol.

The only thing I know of that will directly affect a CDL while driving a POV is those tables in 383.51. Some of those violations can happen while you are in a POV. Insurance doesn't affect the CDL.

80 is not fast enough? So if the speed limit is 100, must you drive 107?

SMH. Sorry dude, I just can't muster any empathy for your situation.
